Headquartered in Mountain View, California, Pure Storage was founded in 2009 by John “Coz” Colgrove and John Hayes. Their purpose was to make enterprise data storage simple, fast, economical and cloud connected, so organizations could focus on doing more powerful things with their data and applications.
Today Pure Storage is made up of over 2,300 people in 27 countries, including two in Iowa. Crossing $1bn in annual revenue in FY2018, Pure Storage is publicly traded on the NYSE under symbol PSTG.
